My teaching brings together academic research and professional museum practice, with a focus on museology, cultural heritage, Moroccan material culture, museums, and the interpretation and valorisation of heritage. Drawing on my experience as a museum professional and researcher, I combine theoretical approaches with case studies, object-based learning, museum visits and practical exercises.
This course introduces students to the principal professions and practices of the museum. It explores the foundations of museology, collections management, conservation, mediation, exhibition development and scenography, connecting theoretical knowledge with contemporary museum practice.
